Ayesha Takia Azmi born as Ayesha Takia (Hindi: आयेशा टाकिया; born 10 April 1986) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films.







Early life

Ayesha Takia was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a Gujarati father, Nishit, and an Anglo-Indian (half British and half Marathi) mother, Faridah. She attended St. Anthony's High School. Her mother is a Muslim and she was raised as one. She has a younger sister named Natasha. She is also the cousin of Abdul Zafar

Ayesha started her career with the "I am a Complan Girl!" advertising campaign and she also appeared in a music video, Falguni Pathak's Meri Chunarii Udd Udd Jaye, when she was fifteen. The complan ad campaign also had Shahid Kapoor as a child actor. She then appeared in the video, Shake It Daddy, when she was sixteen, which brought her to the attention of the movie industry, and a few film offers followed. She signed a contract for Socha Na Tha. However, there were delays in making Socha Na Tha so Taarzan released first and was therefore her "debut" film. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car. She earned critical acclaim for her performance in Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor with Taran Adarsh of Indiafm.com writing,". She accepted non-glamorous roles, which most actors don't do at the start of their career." [1]

Her latest release Wanted costarring Salman Khan has emerged as the one of the biggest blockbusters of 2009.

Antara Mali (Hindi: अंतरा माली) is an Indian actress who stars in Bollywood films. On 12 June 2009, she got secretly wedded to Che Kurien, the editor of GQ magazine.



Career

Mali made her acting debut in the 1999 film Prema Katha which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Varma became Mali's frequent collaborator. Although Mali was critically acclaimed for her performances in each of her films, she discontinued her acting career after production of her last film (Mr Ya Miss which she had also written and directed) was received poorly and critically panned. Mali paid her tribute to Madhuri Dixit by playing an aspiring actress inspired by Madhuri in the movie Main Madhuri Diixit Banna Chahti Hoon.

Aarti Chhabria (Hindi: आरती छाबरिया) (born 21 November 1982) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood, Telugu, Kannada movies and former model.















In 1999 she won the prestigious title of Miss India Worldwide [1]. She debuted in a Hindi movie Lajja. She comes from a Sindhi family.

Diana Hayden










Diana Hayden was born in Hyderabad, India in a Anglo-Indian family.[2] She went to St.Anns High School, Secunderabad but dropped out in the 8th standard, due to circumstances. She continued her studies through open schooling and correspondence and graduated from Osmania University in English.[3]

Before modeling, she used to work for an Event management company called Encore. She then worked as a Public relations officer at BMG Crescendo where she managed careers for models Anaida and Mehnaz. After Anaida's recommendation, she filled in for the Miss India contest. After winning Miss India she proceeded to win the coveted Miss World title.[4]

Anusha Dandekar was born on 1 January 1982 in Sudan. She grew up in Kingsgrove, Sydney, Australia. She made her acting debut in Bollywood with Mumbai Matinee and went on to do Viruddh where she was paired opposite John Abraham, and also acted along with superstar actor Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sharmila Tagore who was her mother-in-law in the movie Viruddh. She is currently a VJ on MTV India, based in Mumbai. She also acted as Rosa, in Anthony Kaun Hai? starring Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt.

Sherawat's birth name is Reema Lamba; she says that she adopted the screen name of "Mallika", meaning "empress" to avoid confusion with other actresses named Reema.
