Beauty
of Indian women lies in the clothes she wears. Very traditional and ethnic yet contemporary Indian Saris are famous worldwide. It is worn with a blouse that covers the upper part of the body. In rural parts a version of sari, called ghagara -choli is very much popular. Choli is like a short blouse that covers the upper part of the body and ghagara is like a long skirt. In order to have a graceful and complete look, women folk carry a duppatta, which is a soft and delicate material of reasonable length thrown over the shoulder.

Though with slight variations, Salwar kameez is a dress that is famous in every part of India. This attire contains two pieces-kameez, which is a like a long top covering upper part of the body and salwar is like trousers. Like ghagara choli, salwar kameez is also complemented by dupatta.

My conception of Beauty is that it comes from within a person. It is shown from the persons actions, behaviour, speech, way of life, tone in one's voice, respect to others and one's care and concern, humbleness and sincerity.

For many others, beauty is a woman who has an hour glass figure, who is fair skinned, slim body, nice facial features, eyes, nose, lips, ears, colour of hair, height, etc.

For some it is the way the woman carries herself along with everything mentioned above and the way she dresses. Dressing like a tramp or very decent with a sari or a beautiful lengha or a simple shalwar kameez. To each person beauty is defined in a different manner and according to each person;s perception.

A woman looking for a man that is handsome also has to have certain beauty, i.e., his eyes,, nose, ears, hair, eyebrows, lips, body type, etc. The way he dresses and the way he walks, talks, etc.

However, what we all fail to realize that Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. God has surely created many beautiful things and beautiful people. What I may think is beautiful, 100 other people may think it's not, perhaps even a 1,000 or more may think it's not.
