Vera Jordanova Wallpape








She was born in Helsinki, Finland to Bulgarian musicians. She is fluent in Bulgarian, Finnish and English and speaks some Spanish, French and Russian. Vera’s parents relocated the family to Finland when Vera was 14. She studied several languages at a high school that specialized in language instruction before a modeling scout spotted her and helped launch her career as a model.

Vera was discovered by Finnish modeling agencies and began to appear nationally on magazine covers. On the heels of her discovery, Vera appeared on several Finnish magazine covers, which led to more work outside Finland. Some of the high-profile international campaigns Vera went on to appear in include Felina Lingerie, Bacardi Lime and Clarins. Acclaimed photographer Gilles Bensimon shot the Clarins photo shoot. Vera was also a main attraction in the 2006 Maxim Calendar, FHM and she had a feature pictorial in the Czech Republic's June 2007 edition of Esquire magazine.

At this time Vera also started her acting career in Finland where she appeared in a few Finnish TV series. Her debut in American cinema was in Eli Roth's horror sequel Hostel II directed by Eli Roth where she plays the part of Axelle, a mysterious woman who works for Elite Hunting to lure tourists into the Slovakian "death factory" run by Elite Hunting for its worldwide clientèle of torture aficionados. She has also appeared in Rocco Deluca & the Burden's “Colorful” music video.
